Burhan Doğançay - New York Face (2000)

If there's one thing Knxwledge does well, it shot but sweet instrumentals. I picked up an album of his from the strength of Rude and it's been in rotation ever since. My only problem is with tracks so short I always forget the names of them, I managed to catch this one before it finished though. Kicking off with a sample that wouldn't be too out of place in 2007/8 era dubstep it soon gets into that lovely off kilter sound as popularised by Flying Lotus and Hudson Mohawke and the like.
